Logic design works has commenced for the Rio Tinto Mesa J Chlorination System for Hydramet. The Water Treatment Plant uses gas chlorination to achieve disinfection of Water for reuse. The chlorination plant is required to provide concentrated chlorine solution for dosing into the supply prior to the Chlorinated water transfer tank.
The control system utilises Rio Tinto standard hardware which is a Schneider M340 PLC and Magelis HMI Touch Screen.
KAPP has also recently secured another project for Contraflow which is also for the Rio Tinto Mesa J mine site borefield which feeds the Hydramet water treatment plant.
