KAPP Engineering has commenced works on a large Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) for MAK Water for a project in Papua New Guinea. Programming and testing works are presently underway for the Raw Water component of this project which is a standalone system that utilises similar engineering works (add-on instructions and global objects).

The programming for the WWTP utilises advanced features available in the Rockwell PLCs so that design can be streamlined with a similar look and feel across both plants. The Control System utilises an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix with Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 6 Operator Interface Panel. Graphics deployed for the project will utilise look and feel similar to a SCADA system with intuitive pop-up menus and an operator friendly interface.
