KAPP Engineering staff will travel to Monglia at the end of July to start work on commissioning the PCS for the Bayan Airag Golden Hills Heap Leech Plant. Bayan Airag Exploration LLC owns and operates the mine site which is located in Durvuljin soum of Zavkhan aimag, in the North-Western part of Mongolia, approximately 1,250 km to the west of Ulaanbaatar city.
The logic for the PCS was originally designed, programmed and witnessed tested in Perth with the clients in 2013. PCS Architecture incorporates ground-up Rockwell Automation equipment with a centralised Allen-Bradley Control Logix PLC. Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE SCADA is utilised as the SCADA system deployed in a VMWare virtualised environment.
