CRS have recently contracted KAPP Engineering to provide Control System Design, Programming and In House Testing works for a new 1500 Person Waste Water Treatment Plant to be installed on Barrow Island to provide additional sewage treatment capacity.

The primary objective of the WWTP is to treat the raw sewage generated by ~1500 people to a quality suitable for re-use and/or downhole discharge.

The WWTP is controlled by a Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC with a C-More Touch Screen Operator Interface Panel.

KAPP Engineering has also worked with CRS on the CRS Barrow Island Sewage Treatment Plant which was implemented at the initial stages of the Chevron Gorgon Project.
