KAPP Engineering - KOYO PLC Training Courses
Services Home > KOYO PLC Training Courses

What do we provide?

KAPP Engineering provides customised training courses for technicians and engineers who require familiarisation with the Koyo PLC Platform. Koyo PLCs are used extensively by the Water Corporation in Western Australia and are a robust Japanese built product that are targeted at small to medium control system applications.

We provide training courses ranging from Beginner Level courses (suitable for Technicians who want to familiarise themselves with the basic programming and troubleshooting aspects of the Koyo PLCs) through to Advanced Level courses (targeted at Engineers and experienced Technicians who program PLCs at a higher level and require an in-depth knowledge of Koyo programming techniques).

Why choose us?

KAPP Engineering is a Value-Added Reseller for Automation Direct in Western Australia and has been working with the Koyo PLCs for over 10 years. Our Trainer, Peter Parlongo, has worked on numerous projects using Koyo PLCs and has vast experience in the field of Control System Design and PLC Programming. Peter has conducted training courses for organisations such as the Water Corporation and Serck Controls and this is what they have to say:

"I'm giving the guys the big thumbs up. The course had all the relevant information, a lot of useful examples and exercises and I feel like I really have learnt something. I'd recommend it to anyone who's ever going to work with Koyo PLCs."
Piotr Jorek, Systems Engineer
Serck Controls

Where do we conduct the training courses?

We are flexible with regards to the location for our training courses. We have our own fully-equipped training room or we can travel to your office; the choice is entirely up to you.

We strongly recommend that the number of trainees be limited to four (4) per course, to ensure that your personnel receive maximum benefit and personalised training. This also allows us to better accommodate for trainees of varying skill levels and experience.

We have designed customised training systems (based on the Koyo DL06 PLC) to give participants a "hands-on" approach, as we feel that this is the best way to learn.

Below are some photos from a training course recently held at our office.

What topics do we cover?

We understand that companies have personnel of varying knowledge levels and experience so we tailor our courses to meet your requirements. We take the time to listen to what you want to hear and not what we want to tell you. Prior to the commencement of any training, we first establish your requirements and then devise a suitable set of topics that will be covered during the course. The length and structure of the course will depend on the topics you wish to cover.

To give interested participants an idea of some of the topics we cover, below is the course outline used for the "2-Day Koyo Advanced Training Course". Click Here to download the comprehensive Course Outline.
