KAPP Engineering is a Systems Integrator for Koyo PLCs (from Automation Direct). In addition, our team of engineers is vastly experienced in PLC programming across a number of hardware platforms.

We specialise in providing fully-documented PLC code which is aimed at ease of understanding rather than economy of elements. This ensures that your site personnel can easily understand and troubleshoot the PLC system during maintenance and upgrade operations. All PLC programs are maintained on file at our office for a minimum period of 10 years, ensuring that you will have access to ongoing support and technical assistance throughout the life of your control system.

We provide design and programming services for Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) products, including the following:

As part of our Quality Management system, every control system designed and supplied by KAPP Engineering is fully tested in-house to ensure that it meets the design criteria. This typically involves setting up the complete control system hardware and software in our office, complete with an array of digital and analog devices to simulate all field devices and external components. All tests are fully documented via detailed test records. Naturally, we encourage our customers to witness the final stages of the FAT to verify that all requirements are met and that they are 110% happy with the results.

Our team of engineers are experienced in performing on-site commissioning of control systems. We have commissioned systems locally, interstate as well as overseas. All commissioning tests are fully documented via detailed commissioning reports.

As a System Integrator for Automation Direct, we are able to provide customised training courses on Koyo PLCs. Whether you are beginner or a more advanced user, we are able to conduct a training course to meet your requirements.

We know that a control system is only as good as the people that support it. We provide all of our customers with 24-hour phone support, ensuring that you are never left “out in the cold”.

Whether you are designing a new control system or maintaining/upgrading an existing control system, one of our engineers is always available to provide you with the phone support that you need. If required, one of our engineers will travel to your site to further assist you in your maintenance and/or upgrades.

Through strategic partnerships, we are able design and manufacture complete Control Panels and/or Switchboards for your next automation project. We will manage the project, saving you the hassle of having to deal with two separate companies. All design documents and drawings are produced in-house by one of our Electrical Engineers.

We are able to supply Training Manuals and conduct closed group training courses for your nominated operations and maintenance personnel.
