PLC's vs the Big Boys (A-B, S7,
GE etc.) AutomationDirect.com in
America conducted a comparative analysis on both the Koyo DL05
and DL06 Micro PLC's with some of the major players in the market
such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE and Mitsubishi. Koyo primarily
targets users who require micro PLC's and from the
analysis shown it is pretty clear that Koyo does indeed compare
("apples for apples") to the other PLC's. With DL05
PLC's starting from just $195 and the fully
featured DL06 from $395, Koyo is
feature packed and excellent value-for-money. Click Here to see
an in-depth article on the research conducted. Customised Koyo Training Courses KAPP

Platform. As most of our readers are already aware, Koyo is the PLC
platform of choice for the Water Corporation's small to medium bore
sites around Western Australia. We recently conducted three advanced
Koyo PLC training courses for Serck Controls and are looking to get
more involved with training for the Water Coporation as well. KAPP
Engineering's training courses are Cost Effective
and a fraction of what the others charge. For more

Routers Now AVAILABLE!
KAPP
Engineering is pleased to announce that the 3G Routers that we are
reselling have been released for sale. The first batch of
units were totally sold out and we managed to get our hands on
one of these routers which we tested extensively. Configuration was
easy and took us no more than 15 minutes to get up
an running. We even set up a VPN Connection to our corporate LAN
using PPTP and were able to access our fileserver wirelessly. This
literally means that you can be sitting in the bush and as long as
you have NextG coverage its almost as if you never left your desk!
Pretty Impressive device at a bargain price of
$799. The next batch of units is available early
Feb 2007. For more product details (including detailed datasheet
& user manual) please visit our website Note
: All prices quoted are Australian Dollars Excluding GST and correct
as of 17th January 2007
Kind Regards, Praveen Paul
